Fitness Requirements

High level of fitness required for those wanting to take part in the Kings Canyon Rim Walk. This 6km hike will not be suitable for all guests. The first 30-minute incline is considered “Difficult” and the hike takes at least 3 hours.

The Driver Guide will offer guest an easier alternative along the creek walk for those who are unable.

You must wear sturdy walking shoes. You won’t be permitted on the Rim walk in shoes with heels, sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes.

Flight Information

Day 1: Flights to arrive prior to 12 noon into Ayers Rock Airport

Day 4: Flights to depart after 8.00pm from Alice Springs Airport

Airport transfers are not available in Alice Springs.

Flights to and from your tour are not included in the tour price.
