Fitness Requirement

  • A medium level of fitness is required.
  • The First Basin loop at the Cataract Gorge is an easy 1km walk however there are some steps and uneven surfaces.
  • Flinders Island is remote and will involve some short walks on unsealed tracks. Beaches generally have good access, some with steps and handrails.
  • The Wineglass Bay Lookout hike is considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 90 mins to complete and is quite steep. It involves climbing over some boulders and the track although well maintained is uneven. Less strenuous options are available.

Day 1: Flights to arrive prior to 9.30am into Launceston Airport

Day 6: Flights to depart after 5.00pm from Launceston Airport

Airport to Hotel transfers are available to purchase on request.

A complimentary transfer from Launceston to Hobart CBD is available on completion of tour departing at approximately 3.30pm. Advise our Reservation team at time of booking.
