Experience one of our incredible Queensland day tours in tropical North Queensland. With Cairns located 1,700 kilometres north of Brisbane and a plethora of things to do along the stunning coastal strip between the Coral Sea and the Great Dividing Range, you won’t run out of experiences to write home about any time soon.
What is undoubtedly one of the best things you can do if you’re in this area of the world is taking a tour of the Great Barrier Reef. Being one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and World Heritage Listed, it’s something no one should miss in their lifetime. It’s also the world’s largest single structure made by a living organism – something which you can view from space. Impressive right? Luckily you don’t have to go to space to see it as it’s just a simple day trip from Cairns to get there.
Also not far from Cairns is the Daintree Rainforest. A World Heritage Listed expanse of some of the world’s oldest surviving rainforest and home to the always intriguing Cassowary – a bird whose reputation precedes it bn. You’ll also find here Cape Tribulation – a headland which is one of the only spots where the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef meet so in just one single Queensland day tour you can visit two World Heritage Listed sites!
