Sunshine Coast
Just north of Brisbane you’ll find the vibrant Sunshine Coast. Home to both a magnificent coastline and beautifully lush hinterland, the Sunshine Coast is teeming with white-sand beaches, eclectic cafés, restaurants and a welcoming, laid back vibe.
Located 60 minutes from Brisbane on the beautiful Sunshine Coast is the world famous Australia Zoo. This award-winning zoo remains a living legacy of the late Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Here you can watch crocodiles in action in the Crocoseum, cuddle an adorable koala, hand-feed Asian Elephants and even walk with a Sumatran Tiger.
The Sunshine Coast is also surrounded by many incredible natural attractions such as the intriguing Glass House Mountains. Made up of several steep volcanic plugs that rise dramatically from the low lying hinterland landscape, the domes are recorded on the National Heritage List and are the result of over 25 million years of erosion.
