From Broome to Perth, travel through remote red Outback and along the spectacular blue coastline. Enjoy a wondrous Cable Beach sunset and travel through rich mineral fields to Port Hedland and contrasting Karijini National Park. Visit magnificent waterfalls and plunge pools and take a tour through a working iron ore mine. On to the the rugged West Australian coastline it's blue water as far as the eye can see at Coral Bay and the chance to frolic with dolphins at Monkey Mia. Before arriving in cosmopilitan Perth. travel down the Batavia Coast and visit the mysterious Pinnacles.

Day 1-2
Broome
Day 1: Welcome to Broome

Welcome to tropical Broome! Enjoy meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers and get to know them over a drink at a Welcome Reception then join them for a delicious dinner at the Sunset Bar and Grill with views of the Indian Ocean. 

Day 2: Broome ‘Free Time’

Today after a Broome city sights tour, choose from a selection of Included Choice sightseeing experiences. You may like to take an exciting Pearl Luggers tour to hear the intriguing stories of early pearling and see two restored pearling luggers and memorabilia including original hard hat diving suits and more. Maybe take a Hovercraft flight on Roebuck Bay to experience the scenery and historic sights of the Broome coastline or hop on board the camel train for a ride along the beach! At some stage you must take a leisurely stroll along the 22 kilometres of sand and swim in the turquoise water of pristine Cable Beach and don't miss out on the spectacular sunset over water sunset.

Day 3
Broome - Port Hedland

Today get set to head south to Western Australia's famous Pilbara region. Known for its rich cultural landscape, red earth and vast mineral deposits, the region's diverse landscape will fascinate you. Skirting the edge of the Great Sandy Desert,  cross vast pastoral leases and Aboriginal homelands through Pardoo to Port Hedland. Port Hedland is a hub for major resource activity is a powerhouse of the Australian economy. Its natural deep anchorage harbour sees the export of iron ore, salt, manganese, livestock and natural gas from the nearby off shore gas fields. Tonight enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 4
Port Hedland - Karijini National Park

Journey in to the depths of the Pilbara to  Karijini National Park. Located in the Hamersley Ranges, Karijini is famous for its the natural beauty of its deep gorges, secluded emerald rock pools and ice blue waterfalls. Your stay tonight is in safari-style eco tents. You can sit on your private deck with a good book and relax watching the sun set and fall asleep to the calming sounds of nature.

Day 5
Karijini - Tom Price

This morning we explore more of Karijini. The startling landscape of spectacular gorges, waterfalls and rock pools provides a striking contrast to the stark red landscape of the Pilbara. You'll explore Fortescue Falls at Dales Gorge and if you're up to it, you can take a walk to one of the national park's plunge pools. This afternoon travel to Tom Price Enjoy a guided tour of Rio Tinto's Open Cut Iron Ore Mine site. You will be amazed by the massive pit and see the huge machinery and trucks in action as your lead to the heart of the operation.

Day 6
Tom Price - Exmouth

Today you journey back to the spectacular waters of the West Coast to North West Cape. Exmouth is situated on the boundary of Cape Range National Park and the Ningaloo Marine Park and was built to house the families of US Navy personnel working at Naval Communication Station Harold E Holt. When you arrive on the coast you'll visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse for stunning view over Lighthouse Bay and enjoy a tour of the township with your Travel Director. Tonight stay just metres from the water, overlooking Exmouth Gulf.

Day 7
Coral Bay

On a shallow draft glass bottom boat, cruise over World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef at Coral Bay to see coral formations found in the lagoon gardens of the inner reef. On your one hour coral cruise you'll see wonderful  fish and corals without having to get in the water. It's a fantastic experience!

Day 8-9
Carnarvon - Monkey Mia
Day 8: Carnarvon - Monkey Mia

 Travel to Hamelin Pool to see the world’s best known colony of Stromatolites. Dating back to the beginning of life on earth, while they may not appear alive, these living structures have helped scientists unravel the history of life on earth! Later visit fascinating Shell Beach, one of only two in the world, formed from billions of coquina bivalve shells up to ten metres deep. Continue to the crystal blue waters and the pristine white shell and sandy beaches of Monkey Mia where you’ll stay for the next two nights.

Day 9: Monkey Mia Free Time

Every morning, Monkey Mia's wild dolphins swim to shore to be fed and mingle with the people. After a leisurely breakfast overlooking the calm waters of the bay, watch the famous dolphins swim into shore (Note: As dolphins are wild their appearance cannot be guaranteed.) Today is yours to do as you choose. Why not take a scenic flight over Shark Bay Marine Park or after a lazy morning take an afternoon wildlife cruise aboard a catamaran to spot sea creatures great and small. In the evening, there's nothing like sitting back with a cocktail or a cool beer, watching the world go by as the sun goes down over the water.

Day 10
Monkey Mia - Geraldton

Wildflower Icon Venture into Kalbarri National Park and visit Red Bluff Lookout to view the spectacular scenery of Murchison River Gorge from the vantage point of Hawks Head Lookout and keep an eye out for graceful Peregrine Falcons hunting along the gorges and cliffs. During wildflower season, the National Park is a bloom with many a variety of wildflower. You'll spot Acacia, Banksia, Caladenia and more! On arrival in Geraldton you'll visit the evocative HMAS Sydney Memorial and have the chance to discover the seaside township.

Geraldton - Perth

 Visit Nambung National Park, home of the marvelous Pinnacles, a series of intriguing limestone formations this morning then stop at the seaside hamlet of Lancelin at lunchtime. 

Aboriginal Cultural Icon This afternoon visit Yanchep National Park where you’ll enjoy a fantastic Aboriginal cultural experience in a bush setting. Meet your Aboriginal guide who’ll share with you their way of life and will treat you to the enchanting sounds of the didgeridoo. It's a hands on experience where you'll have the chance to touch and feel traditional Aboriginal tools and it will have you rolling around with laughter. Continue to Perth and join your fellow travellers for a few laughs over a Farewell Dinner.

Potentially see the same animals as the morning “Wow! Wildlife Experience” but with a much better chance of seeing dugong since this is usually when we visit the Restricted- Access, Dugong Management Zone, which we are allowed into only once a day. Dugong feed on sea-grass. Shark Bay has the largest sea-grass banks in the world, and its 10,000 dugongs represent about 10% of the world’s dugong population. Although dugongs are shy and extremely difficult creatures to find and approach, we have over the last 14 years developed techniques for getting you close without disturbing them.
