Itinerary

1 April 2018 - 31 March 2019 ?
Day 1 - 3
Welcome to Sydney
Day 1: Welcome to Sydney

Begin your discovery of Australia’s largest city with a visit to The Rocks, the place where the first European settlers stepped ashore in 1788. Cobblestone streets and original sandstone buildings characterise this vibrant, historic precinct, where you’ll have time to browse the myriad stalls of the popular Rocks Markets. In the late afternoon, get to know your fellow travellers on board a Captain Cook Cruise as you enjoy your Welcome Reception and dinner. Glide past beaches, parklands, magnificent waterfront homes, and of course the legendary Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

Day 2: Sydney

Enjoy a tour of the Sydney Opera House this morning with a local guide, then board your coach and head to Bondi Beach for lunch at an Australian institution, the Returned Servicemen’s Club, which affords uninterrupted views over the Pacific Ocean. Your host, a local surf lifesaver, will lead you on an exclusive tour through Australia’s oldest lifesaving club to learn about the history of Bondi and surf lifesaving. Leaving the beach and the beautiful people behind us, we return to the bustling city streets of Sydney to spend the rest of the day strolling along Darling Harbour, indulging in a delicious gelato and some serious people watching, or spending your afternoon window-shopping in the QVB.

Day 3: Sydney Free Time

Famous Whitehaven Beach beckons this morning. Cruise aboard a catamaran to this slice of paradise, where you can simply relax on the beach, take a swim or get involved in some fun beach activities. Back on Hamilton Island, the afternoon is all yours to indulge in your own pleasures – hire a buggy and ramble along the island’s winding roads, visit the island’s wildlife park, home to many species of Australian animals or sit back with a good book by the resort’s stunning 35 metre pool.

The celebrated Estilo Bar is perfect for a cocktail tonight before dinner.
