Day 1: Welcome to Sydney

Your Aussie Adventure begins today with an exciting sightseeing tour. You’ll travel east to Bondi Beach where you’ll have the opportunity to complete part of the famous Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and rugged coastline. Visit Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair to take a perfect photo of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House before you continue over the Harbour Bridge to Sydney’s Northern Beaches to enjoy fish and chips on the beach at Manly. Later join a local guide to discover the beaches and Sydney Harbour National Park by bike. There’s no better way to discover the harbour city. Tonight is free for you to do as you wish. You may like to take a walk to nearby Surry Hills for a bite to eat and to experience the inner city culture, or even head to Chinatown for the best Chinese food this side of the Orient. Your Driver Guide will be able to point you in the right direction.

Day 2: Sydney – Blue Mountains

Head out of the city and start your day looking for wildlife at Euroka clearing. You’ll see native birds and wild Eastern Grey Kangaroos in their natural habitat. After a morning tea stop at Glenbrook, continue to Wentworth Falls to experience a 2 hour guided walk (reasonable fitness required). See Australian native flora and fauna as you make your way into the valley of Wentworth Falls and learn about Aboriginal culture and history as you pass ancient rock carvings. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing to the famous Three Sisters. As your Driver Guide leads you down the historic rock carved Furber stairs, you’ll have spectacular views of the Jamison Valley. Next you’ll have the chance to ride the Scenic Railway (own expense), the steepest railway in the world, from the bottom of the valley back to the top, or you can walk back up to Echo Point. The choice is yours! Continue to your accommodation for the night, in the historic town of Katoomba.

Then drive to the Hunter Valley Resort, for a delicious lunch of wood-fired pizza accompanied by a glass of wine or beer. Visit one last boutique winery for an intimate tasting experience, then take some time to explore the Hunter Valley Village at your own pace before continuing to your accommodation to enjoy a barbecue dinner with your travelling companions.
