Experience the sacred beauty of the Red Centre. Witness an outback sunrise and sunset at Uluṟu, take in the sights of Uluṟu, Kata Tjuṯa, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs and view spectacular outback scenery and Aboriginal rock art.
Watch the magnificent sunrise at Uluṟu (Ayers Rock), then travel to Kata Tjuṯa and walk through Walpa Gorge. Later, visit the Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre and then tour the sacred sites around the base of Uluṟu. Continue to the Kuniya Walk and sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole.
In the late afternoon, witness the striking colour changes of Uluṟu at sunset before continuing to our exclusive barbecue venue, where you’ll dine from a delicious menu accompanied by a selection of beverages.
An early start from Ayers Rock Resort should reward you with a desert sunrise en route to Kings Canyon. Make the rocky climb to the rim of the canyon for breathtaking views of Watarrka National Park and into the canyon itself. If time permits you can make the descent into the ‘Garden of Eden’. The climb is recommended for those with a good level of fitness. Or you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon creek bed, an easier, shady walk.
