Day 1: Adelaide – Kangaroo Island
This morning travel to Cape Jervis for the crossing to Kangaroo Island. On arrival at Penneshaw your island nature experience begins! Kangaroo Island is a haven for Australian wildlife, which exist in its natural habitat without the threat of introduced predators. As you travel the island keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and wildflowers. At Seal Bay, your guide will escort you on a walk among the Australian sea-lion colony as they bask on the beach. Enter an exclusive heritage-listed bush property to enjoy a gourmet picnic style lunch with South Australian wine. Following lunch take a pleasant bushwalk looking out for koalas and explore the spectacular beaches of the north coast.

Day 2: Kangaroo Island
Today you'll explore Flinders Chase National Park, which incorporates almost 20 per cent of the island. Discover the Remarkable Rocks. These large granite boulders balance dramatically on the cliff edge, which plunges 75 metres into the turbulent Southern Ocean below. Your next stop is Admirals Arch. A boardwalk takes you down the rugged cliff face to reveal the spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for the 10,000 New Zealand fur seals that frolic in the ocean and sunbake on the rocks. Afterwards, a delicious picnic style lunch will be served complete with wine. By special permit, you’ll enter the Kelly Hill Conservation Park to see kangaroos and other native wildlife emerge from the safety of the bush land to graze on the open plains.

Day 3: Kangaroo Island – Farewell from Adelaide
This morning board the Island Explorer for a half day Dolphin Experience Tour. Discover remote beaches and a host of Australian marine creatures with a chance to swim with the dolphins under strict guidelines. After lunch travel to Island Pure Sheep Dairy for a tour and tastings and then on to Kangaroo Island Spirits, a micro distillery. Continue to Island Beehive for tastings of the organic Kangaroo Island honey and then taste some of the island’s local wine at Bay of Shoals Wines. Afterwards you’ll be transferred for your ferry ride back to the mainland then travel by coach to Adelaide where your inspiring journey concludes.
