Te Papa (Museum of New Zealand)
Immerse yourself into a world of art and culture at The Museum of New Zealand -Te Papa Tongarewa, which translates to “container of treasures”. The museum comprises of six different floors which you will be able to explore at your leisure and gain a fascinating insight into the art, history, natural life and both the Maori and Pacific cultural treasures of New Zealand.
The museum uses both technology and traditional storytelling to educate and entertain visitors and is home to a number of different 3D animations and interactive displays such as the Earthquake House and their unique Marae (Meeting House). The museum is open every day and entry is FREE.
